Investigating the Impact of Balanced Scorecard on Performance of Business: A Study Based on the Banking Sector of Pakistan

Abstract:
This study is made to investigate the practicability and effectiveness of setting and implementing the Balance Score Card (BSC) in improving the overall performance of an organization. Multiple Regression has been deployed to analyze the survey results. The BSC model has been formulated based on five Perspectives: financial, internal control, learning, and growth, customers, and Vision and Strategy. The findings of the study suggest that implementation of Balance scorecard models in Banks provide favorable outcomes in perspectives of financial, internal control, learning and growth, and customers. The financial Perspective of BSC greatly influences the Banks performance. Further, setting the standards for customer preferences pursue the customers to be loyal to Bank. The outcome of this study provides a framework and importance of the application of the Balanced Score Card in the Banking Industry. The other Industry may also take benefit of this study.
